I like midori style notebooks as they are easy to use and swap out when full.

A friend asked me to make a cover out of yellow leather and I had just the stuff. With a red suede interior.

After cutting the interior pieces I added some stitching to the centre.

When all of the inside pieces were ready I glued them into the outer cover.

A couple of hours stitching and we have all of the pieces together.

I had to order some red elastic for this project and once it arrived I punched the holes in the leather and threaded the elastic around the cover. I prefer to use on piece of elastic rather than have a lot of knots.
